Sophie began in the insurance industry straight from school in 2021. She took a leap into a London based multi-national Reinsurance Broker, first working in the Fiduciary and Technical Department – here she developed her skills in client service. Subsequently, she moved to a Broker Support role, working closely with Senior Brokers to assist with renewals and strategy. This role required high attention to detail and the need to build strong relationships.
In 2024, Sophie moved to Australia and after a short stint in Strata Insurance, Sophie joined Barrack Broking as Account Broker in the Sydney office. She holds her London Markert Certificate in Insurance & The Insurance Practitioner Level 3 Qualification.
Sophie has a passion for learning about different client’s and fulfilling their needs to the best of her ability. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys travelling around Australia and seeing the many sights. She also has a strong passion for sailing, having previously competed worldwide whilst also introducing children to the sport.
